We are now back in our school, rooms have been painted and spring cleaning done. The children are looking forward to the spring thaw and riding their tricycles instead of sleds.
The new year has begun, and OCP is embarking on a new adventure. Our heating system quit on the coldest day of the year in our heritage building. In order for the City of Orillia to repair this system we have been temporarily moved to 50 Westmount Drive North for the safety of the children and our staff.
Thank you to all of the staff and families who helped during this quick relocation.
Come one, come all…. Today at both centers we are having our Christmas Concert. Songs, crafts and goodies to eat. A special visitor from the north pole will be making an appearance. See you at 3:30.
Watch for our float at the Orillia Santa Claus Parade on Sunday, November 23rd @ 1:00 p.m. The Who’s who of OCP will be there……..
You can find us at Orillia Central Pre-School voted Orillia’s best daycare.
You can now catch us on twitter @OrilliaDayCare.
Children move naturally. They move to achieve mobility, they move to express a thought or feeling, and they move because it is joyful and feels wonderful. When their movement becomes consciously structured and is performed with awareness for its own sake, it becomes dance (National Dance Education Organization, 2005).
Our facebook page should be up and running soon. Keep you eye on our blog for further updates!
